Couples Counselling
Relationships can go through different seasons. I'd be glad to seek to support you in finding the way forward where you may be stuck, hurt, afraid or challenged.
To support my offer to you, I have completed the Certificate in Couples Counselling (Accredited by the International Society of Psychotherapy and Counselling and National Counselling Training Institute)

What do you do?
I seek to understand the situation you are in (from both perspectives), identify and clarify your shared goals and support you to understand, process and find your way forwards with greater understanding, trust, connection and love.
There are times when hurts run deep, communication seems to be blocked and the state of your marriage or relationship is not what you're wanting or ok with. I'd love to offer a safe, proactive and purposeful space for you to address things that needs addressing and look towards a future that you both want to commit to.
Go ahead and get in touch!
If you both share Christian faith, when in keeping with your expressed wishes, I am very willing for prayer and/ or scripture to feature in our sessions.
I work with clients of all faiths and none.
Standard sessions are 50 minutes, but longer sessions can be negotiated.
Work is weekly, but there may come a time when it is mutually agreed that fortnightly sessions are supportive your progress and/ or financial situation.
What kinds of areas will be addressed?
We will address matters that relate to your relationship's healing and strengthening.
It is likely that this will include understanding and addressing:
How past matters (pre the relationship and within your shared history) are affecting you.
How you are managing presently; strengths and challenges and
How you both want to move forward with insights, skills, security and safety.
Often matters relating to difficult events, rock bottoms, core beliefs, communication, intimacy and stages of life are relevant, but each couple is different.
I look forward to working with you.
